A bit about us: Thank you everyone that has encouraged and supported us in starting our endeavor!!!!!!
We are new to being a formal business, but the three of us have been “helpers” by heart for decades.
Amanda has been helping various social services, advocacy & grassroots groups feed and care for the population of animals that belong to the unhoused around Norman as well as the unhoused themselves and children of need in the Moore/Norman area- taking in strays to get vetted, spayed/neutered, then fostered until an appropriate forever home can be found.
Allison and Kristina have been helping to fill the need for local rescues & shelters with manpower, by picking up loose animals after-hours, reuniting pets and fostering whenever the need arises among various rescues.
We came together through our love of animals and because of a special Raccoon named Coonsie.
You can often find us searching the streets late at night or doing night stake-outs for missing pets.
Our objective is first and foremost to get the animals off the streets safely, report to the shelters, have them scanned for microchip and hunt for their family. If we aren’t able to find their family, we will have them thoroughly checked by a veterinarian and foster them through our volunteers currently built up of qualified friends and family. We are hoping our network will grow! Our mission is to also ensure our animal friends have necessary resources and we hope to help owners who may be in need.
We are located in Norman, OK, but wherever help is needed, we plan to try to be available through our wonderful network of rescuers.
Our plan is to work with other rescues and be available for assistance as needed for them, while taking care of animals within our scope, as well.
